Baby Calendar Quilt with Embroidery
We made this cute baby quilt for a boy, using designs from the One-Color Baby Boy Calendar. You can easily adapt it for a girl, using the designs from the One-Colors Baby Girl Calendar and changing the color of the fabrics.

The finished size of the quilt is about 37" x 45".

Embroidery:
Select threads for the embroidery, we used dark blue.

Upload the files from the One-Color Baby Boy Calendar into your embroidery machine.

Stabilize the first white square. Hoop the fabric tightly and embroider a design. Repeat fo the remaining white squares.
Tip: It's a good idea to place your embroidery machine in the center of a table / work surface, so that the quilt does not hang and pull the carriage of the machine.

Quilting and Finishing
Now place the backing on a flat surface (table) face down. Cover with batting. Spread your working piece over it.

Pin all layers together.

A baby quilt should be soft, so do not quilt densely. We quilted mostly in the ditch.
