For this vacation themed table runner we used the designs from the Sea Shell and Tropical Fish Set.

Embroidery: |
We did embroidery on the white sections of the top. Make print-outs of the designs and position them on the white sections as you like. If you do not have a printer, make rectangles of the same dimentions as the designs, mark them with the number of the fish/shell design. Arrange them on the quilt top.
After you're satisfied with the composition, embroider the designs one by one. Use any colors you like. |
Quilting and Finishing:
Now place the backing on a flat surface (table) face down. Cover with batting. Spread your working piece over it.
Pin all layers together. We quilted in a free-motion style all over the table runner. |
Press with heavy steam. Square the quilt. Finish the raw edges with the binding. |
You can use this piece as either a table runner or a wall hanging.
Happy Stitching! Have fun!
