Celtic Bracelet / Bookmark |
Hoop 1-2 layers of water-soluble mesh. Upload the file into the machine. Start it. The first color will embroider the outline of the bracelet over the stabilizer.. |
Cover the outline with a piece of felt. Start the machine, it will embroider the same outline and some details inside the outline over the felt. |
With a pair of sharp scissors cut away the felt around the outline, then between the lines as shown on the picture below. Take care not to cut through the stabilizer and stitches. |
Return the hoop to the machine and cover the stitch-out with a piece of cotton fabric. Start the machine. It will embroider the same motif over the fabric.
With a pair of sharp scissors cut away the fabric around the outline and between the parallel lines as in the previous step. |
Return the hoop to the machine. The next color will finish all raw edges. The last color will embroider the Celtic motif. Choose any colors you like. |
Cut the wash-away stabilizer close to the stitches. Wash out the remainder, spread on a flat suface and leave to air dry.
You can choose to embroider the bracelet without applique fabric, using only felt, like our black stitch-out. You can further decorate the bracelets with crystals, rhinestones, beads, etc. |
