These are instructions on how to embroider the Candle Applique.
You will need
Mega Hoop:
Size: 138 x 216 mm (5.4" x 8.5")
Stitches: 19671
Colors: 7/11
Large Hoop:
Size: 114 x 179 mm (4.5" x 7")
Stitches: 14922
Colors: 7/11
Embroidery
Step One: Hoop the base fabric with light-weight cut-away stabilizer. Upload the file. Start the machine. The first color will embroider the outline of the design.
Step Two: Place a piece of white fabric over the outline.
Start the machine. It will embroider the outline over the fabric.
With a pair of sharp scissors, cut away the fabric around the outline as close to the stitches as possible. Take care not to cut through the stitches.
Step Three: The remaining colors will embroider the candles, flame and finish the raw edges.
Color 3 will embroider some shadows on the candles, use any color a shade darker than your applique fabric, e.g. light gray for white.
Color 4 will finish the raw edges of the candles, use any color needed by your project.
Color 5 will embroider melting wax on one of the candles. White color is recommended.
Color 6 will make the outline of the melting wax. Black color is recommended.
Color 7 will embroider the melting wax on another candle, color 8 will embroider the outline of the wax.
Color 9 will embroider the melting wax on the third candle, color 10 will embroider the outline of the wax.
Color 11 will embroider the candle flames.
