We could not fit all the designs from this set on the page of the design, that is why we are showing them here.
Besides the English letters we also included three apple blocks and one "empty" block with grid. We hope that this set will give you a lot of creative possibilities.
The first project we'd like to show, is the quilted alphabet cards.
Step One: Hoop the fabric with a tear-away stabilizer and embroider the picture. Stop before embroidering the grid.
Step Two: Remove the hoop from the machine - DO NOT remove the work from the hoop! Place a layer of low-loft batting and backing under your work. Secure the edges with pins.
Step Three: Return the hoop to the machine and finish stitching - the machine should embroider the grid and the frame.
Step Four: With a pair of sharp scissors, cut away the excess fabric, batting and backing.
The card is ready.
You can assemble the cards in different order to make various signs for the rooms in your house.
To sew the cards together, use the same thread as you used for the embroidery, and with wide zig-zag or any other bridge stitch attach the cards to each other.
We hope that you like our ideas and will come up with many of your own.
