Our customer Carole Gordon explains how she keeps her embroidery files organized. It's easy but very efficient and we hope that Carole's advice will help many of our customers to organize their embroidery files.
"After I unzip the designs to a floppy, I place a copy of the designs into my embroidery folder so I always have a backup version on the hard drive, as well as one on the floppy my Brother will take.
I then print a summary of the design and one or two in actual size and put the paperwork and the floppy in a clear sheet protector and then into a folder. This works for me, but there may be easier ways to organize. It is also easier to let grandkids pick out their own designs . I have a separate notebook for Advanced Embroidery Designs."

On our part we'd like to add that we recommend to print out your invoice as well and keep it together with the floppy. If it's a problem to print out the invoice, write down its number and the date of the order on the color card. The order number will help us track down your order and re-send you your designs if anything happens to them.
