Die-Cut Greeting Cards

The Internet is a wonderful thing! We get acquainted with many nice people, among them Mrs. Donna Turner, who has a website devoted to Die-Cut Greeting Cards and Projects. The website sells pre-cut frames and mats for greeting cards. Mrs Turner kindly supplied us with samples of her goods. There are frames for cards of several sizes.

	We liked the mini-cards, measuring 3 x 4 inches, so much that we have several special sets of miniature designs (e.g. Floral Miniatures, Christmas Miniatures) to fit them.
	Mrs Turner advised us to embroider on Organza, strengthened with a layer of the water-soluble stabilizer; her preference is Wash-Away stabilizer. We tried Organza with Wash-Away, Avalon and Sulky. You can see the results of our efforts on the photos. These cards are really very easy to make and they make a warm and admired gift.
	These Christmas-themed greeting cards were made in a similar way.
	Just a piece of advice for those of you who would like to embroider our mini designs: as these are miniatures, use the brightest "tropical" colors, to make the designs catch the eye.
