This machine embroidery design is part of our Celtic and Freestanding Battenberg Lace collections. It uses the Freestanding Battenberg Lace technique. It will fit the Large hoop (5" x 7").
With this edge lace you can make doilies of different shapes and sizes. On the photo, there are only some possibilities. The smallest doily with three patterns for the edge is 9" in diameter. The larger doily, with 4 patterns, is 13" in diameter. The doily with 5 patterns is 15 1/2" in diameter. These doilies are made in the same way as many of our fabric doilies with edge lace. You can find instructions in the Table Linen projects.
