This set of machine embroidery designs is part of our Freestanding Lace Gift Bags collection. It uses the Freestanding Lace technique. The designs will fit the Large hoop (5" x 7").
The parts of the set are embroidered in the same way as our FSL ornaments, so please read the General Guidelines first.
Some points to remember from the General Guidelines:
Use Vilene water soluble stabilizer;
Use the same thread for the needle and bobbin to get two-sided embroidery;
DO NOT embroider several designs in one hoop.
Embroider each part of the design.
Dissolve the stabilizer and leave the parts to air dry. Press all parts with steam. Machine-stitch the panels to the bottom using zigzag - stitch the front and the back panels to the wide sides and the side panels to the narrow sides of the bottom.
Fold all the panels up and lace the sides. The inscription on the back - is the second color - can be omitted to get a gift box for any occasion. The poppy design is in the French knots technique.
