This set of machine embroidery designs is part of our Quilting collection. It uses the Quilting and Redwork techniques. The designs is available for the Large hoop (5" x 7") and Mega hoop (6" x 10").
You can embroider the designs using puffy foam to produce a trapunto look as seen on the picture below.
To make trapunto, hoop the base fabric.
Place a sheet of puffy foam on the back of the hooped fabric. To keep it in place, use pieces of quilter's tape.
Start embroidering. The machine will embroider the outline of the rectangle and stop. (photo 1)
Neatly break off the foam around the outline of the design.(photo 2)
Start the machine again and finish the embroidery.
