This machine embroidery design is part of our Cutwork Lace Roses collection. It uses the Lace technique. It will fit the Large hoop (5" x 7").
To embroider this design, hoop the fabric with a layer of water soluble mesh. Start embroidering. The machine will embroider the outline of the design and stop.
Take the hoop from the machine. With a pair of sharp scissors cut away the fabric. The areas of fabric which are meant to be removed are darkened in the picture.
If you want to make a lace insert, do not cut the fabric around the design.
Return the hoop to the machine and finish embroidering.
Wash away the stabilizer and leave to air dry. Press with steam.
Thus we made a small doily. If you want to make a lace insert, do not cut away the fabric around the design.
