This machine embroidery design is part of our Christmas Freestanding Lace collection. It uses the Freestanding Battenberg Lace technique. It will fit the Large hoop (5" x 7").
The inside part of the motif is made of fabric. By changing the color of the lace and fabric you can get different-looking doilies. Instructions for embroidering the doily are enclosed.
It's also possible to use the motif as edge lace for larger table linen.
We made the lace red with gold metallic highlights and used Christmas fabric with red and gold poinsettias.
