This machine embroidery design is part of our Freestanding Crochet Lace Doily collection. It uses the Freestanding Crochet Lace technique. It will fit the Large hoop (5" x 7").
You can use this doily by itself or make a lace insert or lace edge for a larger doily. The finished size of the doily shown below is 15" in diameter.
To make this doily, embroider the lace pattern six times and stitch it, using zig-zag, onto a piece of fabric. Cut away the excess fabric from under the lace.
If you fold and stitch the edges of lace, you can get a bowl.
