This set of machine embroidery designs is part of our Freestanding Crochet Lace Doily collection. It uses the Freestanding Crochet Lace technique. The designs will fit the Large hoop (5" x 7").
To make the small doily just embroider its file. Use two layers of Vilene water-soluble stabilizer and cotton embroidery threads.
To make the larger doily, embroider the central part once and the border part five times. Rinse the stabilizer and spread the parts evenly to air dry.
When assembling the crochet parts, use a zig-zag stitch and the same thread with which you embroidered the design both for the needle and for the bobbin.
