This machine embroidery design is part of our Doll Clothes Fashion Dolls collection. It uses the Freestanding Crochet Lace technique. It will fit the Large hoop (5" x 7").
The design of the poncho is a crochet- style FSL. Please read the General Guidelines and Step-by-Step Guide to Embroidering our Crochet-Style FSL designs. To make this poncho you'll have to embroider the design twice. Then, stitch the two parts together, leaving an opening of about 1 3/4" in the center for the head.
Rinse the stabilizer thoroughly in warm water. Unlike doilies, the doll clothes should be soft and have no stiffness in them.
One part can be used as a shawl. The stitch-outs on the pictures are done in 50-weight cotton, 40-weight rayon and 40-weight polyester threads.
