Embroidery Contest 2012

"I have been involved in restoring a very large genealogy collection this year, which has greatly limited my stitching. But in appreciation for their hard work on this project, I stitched a dozen aprons for the volunteers. I combined 2 designs from the Literature Set and added text using my Brother Innovis D. Because I needed to do so many & had much more pressing tasks to attend to, I chose to use variagated thread which meant I didn't have to change thread colors. All seemed pleased with the finished aprons. The 1st & 2nd photos are close ups of the designs & the 3rd shows some of the volunteers wearing their aprons. "
