"This is a wall hanging made for my sewing room.
The wall hanging consists of seven panels - four rose panels with the Blooming Tea Roses repeated many times. The three panels between the rose panels, contain pockets in which the different embroidery gadgets are stored. The first one makes provision for all the different types of stabilizers. These are stored in closed tubes to prevent damage by insects or moisture. The second one contains the various embroidery hoops whereas the third one makes provision for addisional embroidery aids such as templates, the sewing revolution, quilt square etc.
All the embroidery was done on a Husqvarna Designer I sewing machine. The lettering used on the alternate panels comes from the lettering supplied with this embroidery machine's software. The rose panels were created by repeating the rose design. The various colours of the rose flowers were changed on alternating panels."
