Embroidery Contest 2010

Entry # 31

"My entry is a Bak-duk (in Swedish). I don´t know the English word for this item.
It is a kind of embroidered piece of clothing which is used to cover the baked-out dough placed on the baking-sheet for fermantation. In the old days it was very common to decorate such pieces of clothing with red or blue thread. The pieces of clothing were first made of linen and later made of cotton. I have used cotton for my piece of clothing."
The contestant uses a Husqvarna Designer II.
The designs used are from the Redwork Fruit Set.
