Embroidery Contest 2010

This contestant sent in pictures of her "Gone with the Wind" Wall Quilt. She writes:

"Purchased "Gone With The Wind" fabric from "Timeless Treasures" this past summer. Found your designs for "Scarlett" and "Rhett" and could not wait to put it to good use. The only embroidery on this quilt are the Scarlett and Rhett sepia colored cameos (I adjusted the thread from black to darker brown tones for sepia tone), one small pink flower (adjusted in size and placement 57 times) and lines from the movie using the lettering feature on my Bernina Artista 200. The "Twelve Oaks" scene is an applique of black fabric with some occasional threadwork off the branches. The bottom section are the lines in the opening card to the 1939 movie (again, using the lettering feature on my machine). The quilt was then free motion quilted on my Bernina Artista 170."
