Embroidery Contest 2009

This contestant submitted a place mat embellished with cutwork embroidery. She writes:

"The place mats (two sets of eight mats each) were done for two of our daughters for Christmas this year. They were made from a linen/cotton blend and embroidered after the fabric was mitered and hemstitched. The work was done on the PFAFF Creative Vision with the design 'Poppy Lace'. The mats look lovely on all kinds of wood or on different coloured table cloths."
