Embroidery Contest 2008

This participant named her wall hanging "Give Thanks." Here is what she writes: "The embroidery designs were stitched on a Husqvarna Viking SE. Most of the fabrics were from my stash. I quilted it on my Viking SE, using some built-in designs, as well as free motion quilting. The leaf designs were stitched by drawing the designs on Golden Threads paper and stitching on the paper that was pinned to the project. I am proudly displaying the wall hanging in front of my fireplace."

The participant used the pattern of our Thanksgiving Wall Quilt and the embroidery designs Girl with Pumpkin, Pilgrim Boy, Turkey and Cornucopia cutwork designs.
