This participant has sent in pictures of her "Scattered Fortunes" quilt.
This is what she writes:
"I have always liked the simple geometric designs. When I saw it on the side of the web site, I knew I just had to have that design because it was very me. I like the simplicity of it yet it is sophisticated. I wanted to do something that was simple in design so that it would not take away from the embroidery design itself. That is when I decided to do something with nine patches. I knew I wanted to do something with the rich olive/emerald and an olive/brown. I went to the local fabric store and I found the medium colored piece and knew that it was perfect. This quilt is going to be donated to the school that my boys attend for a fundraiser in February. The name comes form the embroidered design. Each time I quilted around the design I was reminded of fortune cookies and they are scattered throughout the quilt, thus the name scattered fortunes."
Embroidery design used is from the Geometric Design Set.
