Turkey Cutwork

The Turkey Cutwork Lace is available in 3 sizes: for large, 5" x 7" (130 x 180 mm), and for small, 4" x 4" (100 x 100mm) and mega hoops.

Small Hoop:
Size: 80 x 99 mm (3.19" x 3.91")
Stitches: 16273
Colors: 1
Stops: 2

Large Hoop:
Size: 126 x 155 mm (4.99" x 6.13")
Stitches: 19328
Colors: 1
Stops: 2

Mega Hoop:
Size: 158 x 199 mm (6.22" x 7.64")
Stitches: 21589
Colors: 1
Stops: 2

You will need fabric, water soluble mesh and embroidery threads. 40-weight embroidery polyester threads are preferred for the project.
Cotton thread is not suitable because the embroidery will be too bulky.
Rayon thread is sensitive to the chemicals in the water-soluble mesh and will not work for the project.

Please note: ALWAYS make a test stitch-out on scrap before you make a stitch-out on the real item.

Step One: To embroider the design, hoop the fabric with a layer of water soluble mesh. Start embroidering. The machine will embroider the outline of the design and stop.

Step Two: Take the hoop from the machine. With a pair of sharp scissors cut away the fabric inside the outline.

Step Three: Return the hoop to the machine and finish embroidering.

Step Four: Wash away the stabilizer and leave to air dry. Press with steam
