Cutwork Lace Fruit Doily Set II

The Cutwork Lace Fruit Doily Set II is a set of 3 designs, which are available in three sizes: for large hoops (5" x 7"), mega hoops (6" and over) and commercial hoops (8" and over).

You will need cotton, linen, or cotton/linen blend fabric, water soluble mesh and embroidery polyester threads.

We recommend to use embroidery polyester threads, because embroidery rayon threads have a tendency to react with the chemicals in the watersoluble mesh and make the work look untidy.

Comm.Hoop: Size: 199 x 199 mm Stitches: 22000 Colors: 1

Mega Hoop: Size: 149 z 149 mm Stitches: 18000 Colors: 1

Large Hoop: Size: 129 x 129 mm Stitches: 15000 Colors: 1

All 3 doilies are embroidered in the same way.

Step One: Hoop 2 layers of water soluble mesh. Start the machine. It will embroider the outline of the design and stop.

Step Two: Place a piece of fabric over the mesh to cover the outline. You can pin the fabric to the mesh outside the embroidery area. Start the machine. It will embroider the outline of the design.

Step Three: Take the hoop from the machine. With a pair of sharp scissors cut away the fabric in the areas shown on the picture. Take care not to cut through the stabilizer and stitches.

Step Four: Return the hoop to the machine and finish embroidering.

Step Five: Wash away the stabilizer and neatly spread on a flat surface and leave to air dry. Press.

The cutwork lace is ready. Enjoy!
