Snowman Appliqué Project in the Hoop

These are intructions on how to embroider the SnowmanAppliqué. The design shows 9 colors, but you will need onlyblack and white threads. Different colors are used in the design to markstops. Besides embroidery threads, you will also need white fabric forthe face, red or orange for the nose and two fabrics of your choice forthe hat and scarf.

Step One: Hoop the base fabric. We did not use any stabilizersbecause our base fabric, cotton flannel, is thick enough, but if your basefabric is thin, you might consider using a layer of tear-away stabilizer.Thread the needle with white thread. Start embroidering. The machine willembroider an outline of the face and stop.
