We are happy to inform our customers that the quilt The
Notebooks of a Genius by our project developer Helena Mataev won third
place in the Computer-Aided Machine Embroidery category.
We would like to congratulate Helena with this success!
The quilt is 52"x 68".
Computerized embroideries of Leonardo's sketches from our Leonardo's
section were incorporated into the innovatively-pieced top.The project
was then machine-quilted and embellished with computerized machine embroidered
outlines
of Leonardo's works. The quilt was then additionally decorated with
geometric shapes cut from tulle and stitched to the quilt.
